"Peak" style jacket collar
"Notch" style jacket collar
"Shawl" style jacket collar
"Peak" and "Notch" collars Look good on general suit and jacket styles but can also be used on a Tux.
Cutaway style Jacket With Tails
Streamlined "Cutaway" style with "Notch" collar
Classy "Coat Tails"
with "Peak"collar
"Shawl " collars work well on evening and tuxedo styles.
Tuxedo
Elegant "Tuxedo' style, featuring a "Shawl" collar

Spread Collar

SPREAD COLLAR

Generally used for straight tie.

This style has the same results as a "Laydown".

Lay Collar

LAYDOWN COLLAR

Suitable choice for Straight tie.
With a bowtie it can be used but only the knot and bow is visible not the band.

Wing Collar

WING COLLAR

Best choice for a bow tie as all will be visible.

Not recommended for a regular straight tie.

Band Collar

BAND COLLAR

Not recommended for any tie at all.

This style is normally worn with a fancy stud or fastener.

  • Single vent
  • Flap pockets
  • Low set armholes
American style teams well with heavier set shoes with thicker soles or stocky appearance, which creates a good balance.
British Style

BRITISH CUT

  • Higher Armholes
  • Padded shoulders
  • Flap pockets
  • Slightly shaped waistline
  • Double vents
British style can be teamed with medium set shoes with regular soles and a conventional appearance.
Italian Style

ITALIAN CUT

  • Padded shoulders
  • No vents
  • No flaps on pocket
  • Tapered shape
  • Narrow on the hip
  • Very chic and streamlined
Italian style can be teamed with narrower set shoes with regular soles and a streamlined appearance.
