The Dapper Groom

The ultimate in daytime formal, this look portrays one main style which is the “Morning suit”.  This manner of dress is a very prestigious look, which is traditionally reserved for important events before 5 p.m.

Polished with an air of politeness, this look suits the groom with a very refined personality who wants a superior, genteel appearance, creating an air of well-bred sophistication.

APPEARANCE DETAILS
The characteristics of the “Morning suit” consist of a very specific look; grey pinstripe of sometimes plain pants, a darker or sometimes matching coat with tails, a waistcoat/vest, lace-up shoes, cravat and top hat.  Gloves are optional but would be more suitable for the groomsmen unless you are prepared to remove them for the ring ceremony.

Your groomsmen will have to follow the style to successfully pull off this approach but it will be worth it as it can look extremely good and very uniform.  If you want your party to look really polished and go all the way with style, this manner can effectively carry off the addition of a cane to each of the groomsmen.

Reminiscent of Fred Astaire in “Top Hat & Tails” this look is very poised and distinguished and as a result is only suitable for daytime weddings of a formal nature.
