The Risque Bride

IF you have got it flaunt it and this bride certainly does but in a very different way to the “Wow Bride”, for this look you do not necessarily have to have a good figure but certainly great skin and the poise to show it as well.

This approach is for the ultra self-confident bride who knows she looks good enough to really display herself.

APPEARANCE DETAILS

The characteristics of the “Risqué Bride” focus on the absence of lining in selected areas, texture against skin like lace panels, chiffon inserts and bare midriffs; creating a see through look in selected areas or sometimes leaving the section bare altogether.  Bare areas can also be complimented with fringing or tassels whatever suits your taste.

For this look your accessories should be kept simple as there is already a lot going on with your gown, the delicate patterns and lace compositions can be quite striking.  With this style it really is a case of trying on everything and making sure it coordinates before you make your final decision.

Depending on the severity of the transparent sections this look might work well for a beach or garden ceremony but not be suitable for a church or similar wedding, but providing the showing of skin is minimal and tasteful in the style you select, you can still consider it and check with your officiate for suitability.

Remember that to fully appreciate this appearance, your groom must be in a similar manner to you. There are variations to the Risque style, from very casual to very formal so the choice of corresponding groomwear would very much depend on how grand your wedding is, as opposed to a particular look.
