SWEDEN |
The custom of carrying a bouquet is a Swedish custom which is already enjoyed in western culture. However another charming custom strongly centres around the parents and their continuation, even on her wedding day, to care about the welfare of their daughter. Traditionally the bride carries coins in her shoes, one Gold in her right from her Mother and one silver in her left from her Father so that she will never be in need. |

Colour plays
a strong role in Vietnamese wedding culture in particular red and rosy hues which represent a promising, glowing future for the couple, full of bloom. Their wedding rice is cooked red and the mother-in-law presents the bride with pink chalk as a form of her blessing and wishes for a bright, rosy future for the bride and groom.
Caribbean Touch: Present your Daughter-in-law with a bunch of Pride-of-Barbados (our National Flower), which is red in colour and can represent your wishes to the new couple for a rosy future.
