Follow this regime to have beautiful skin on your wedding day and beyond.
FACIAL CARE
For that healthy skin, try a spa treatment or use a gentle foaming cleanser or milk cleanser. Using regular soap to cleanse the face strips your skin of natural oils and your glands react by producing even more oil.
A simple twice-daily routine includes cleansing and toning followed by a moisturizer.  It will help keep your skin soft and replenished.
You can also try a facial scrub or exfoliant as this will remove dead cells on the skin’s surface and speed up the production of new cells.  It also improves blood circulation, which gives the skin a healthy glow and helps you look healthier on your wedding day in Barbados.
Finally, use a moisturizer containing sunscreen with UV-protection in the morning, as this will protect your skin from the sun.
Be careful of hats and sunglasses, they can create unsightly tanning lines and also moisturise with a night cream before bed to soften the skin.
TOTAL SKIN CARE
You can also take care of your total body skin from the inside to keep it young and healthy by giving up junk food and replacing it with fresh fruit, salads and vegetables.  Continue this regimen while on the island, as these items are all readily available in hotels and restaurants.
To boost your immune system drink lots of water.  It's easy and safe here and makes a big difference as it keeps your skin hydrated, but also add moisture creams to maintain the outside of your body as all skin types, need moisturizers.
Drinking alcoholic beverages takes the moisture right out of your skin, which is why some people have that sallow and flaky look; so for the big occasion ease off to obtain that clear, clean look.
In the shower use a soap free body wash, as this is gentler on the skin and apply a cream moisturiser after showering.

DARK CIRCLES UNDER EYES
Dark circles, which are broken blood vessels under the skin, can be caused by several things.  Most of the time it is heredity but other causes are alcoholic beverages, cigarettes, caffeinated drinks and lack of sleep.  It could also be an iron deficiency which would need doctor’s care.
Dark circles can still be contained with an eye cream such as vitamin K cream for the sensitive areas around the eye or a stimulating eye gel in the morning to reduce puffiness.
