Checklist to ensure important wedding items are packed
- Information on transportation to your wedding destination.
- Plane Tickets
- Passports (make sure your passports are up to date as some countries require that you have at least six months left on your passport before it expires).
- Wedding Abroad Insurance
- Wedding rings
- Gift for your bride
- Copies of all vendor contracts, including contact information
- Important documentation required to obtain marriage license e.g. birth certificates
- Wedding attire, choose the correct tux or suit (plan your outfits for all of the different wedding events ahead of time).
- Colour coordinates socks to match your trousers.
- Purchase under-vest to absorb sweat as sweating is a big problem for Caribbean destinations. Also, select the right accessories – ties, pocket squares, etc.
- Breath spray is a must as you will be talking throughout the day.
- Buy hair grooming supplies and ample toiletries.
- List of the Wedding Day itinerary.
- Wedding Ceremony Programmes.
- Complete guest list.
- Note cards for speeches
- Welcome letter or gifts for wedding party guests’ rooms.
- Video camera
- Any special music, if necessary for ceremony, first dance etc.
- General clothing – casual (shorts, T shirt etc) and cool selections to wear in the evening during your stay including undergarments & swim/beachwear.
