My name is Brianna and I am eager to share my special story with you.  I have had an amazing ride, leading up to and throughout my wedding. At first it was a bit of a rollercoaster but after a while it became more of a carousel.  I had my ups and downs but I began to sail through them gently because I had help.  The support was invaluable, making the experience informative, exciting … And fun.

I always heard the statistics that most people meet their partners at work and I didn't really put much belief in it; I certainly didn’t think it would happen to me as I had an active social life and loved to travel.  However, yes I met Alex at work.  It was a simple meeting and at the time I didn’t even think of him in any other light than that of a colleague, but Andrea, my co-worker and friend, said she noticed a connection between us.  At the time I laughed it off as girl talk.

As usual Andrea was right … slowly as time went by I noticed that Alex and I got on very well and in fact made an amazing team. 

It was at the office awards function that he asked me out.  I was glad at the opportunity to get to know him outside of the work environment; we had already accomplished so much together for the architectural firm we worked for, I was keen to see how far we could go as friends and maybe even a couple.

That was the first of many dates and as our friendship grew so did love and we soon became a regular couple. 

We enjoyed social times together and participated in many fun activities, including my fondness of travel of which I found that Alex also enjoyed.

To be honest, the relationship was so fulfilling that I was often content  to just relax in his arms in front of the TV, in the knowledge that I was safe and loved.

Nine months later, Alex invited me to a very special evening; he didn’t tell me what he was planning so it all came as a complete surprise.  He started to express his feelings for his future and went on to say how incomplete it would be without me ... He asked me to be his wife.
